The excess of the stored glucose in your blood is where the trouble is.
Experts have opined that engaging in exercises and healthy diets that end up making you lose as little as 5 to 7 percent of your body weight (which is just 10 to about 14 pounds for someone of 200 pounds) is enough to keep diabetes at bay. It can get pretty boring exercising alone, as a diabetic, especially since you have to exercise all the time. To help you find fun in exercising, get a friend or someone that also needs to be exercising daily and work together. It’s usually fun when you are involved in the same thing with someone else, instead of doing it all by yourself.
A good way of managing diabetes when it comes to your food is to eat little meals often, rather than large meals few times each day. People make the mistake of eating just once or twice but very large meals. This is not the best. It’s much better to eat little meals 3 to 4 times each day. This enables you to eat healthier proportions and prevents you from feeling hungry all through the day.
