Pomegranate juice which is made from the pomegranate fruit is used mainly for cooking especially, one involving the Persian cuisines. It was believed have some health benefits but nothing, was ever proved until recently when extensive research took place in a number of countries. As was believed it was shown that there may be a link to the intake of pomegranate juice & a reduced risk of some disease, most notably, cancer. The studies indicated that the regular intake of pomegranate juice might help decrease the risk of acquiring cancer. This might come as, a welcome news to many people, especially those who are health-conscious. Nonetheless, more research is being done to confirm the initial test results. Even in the Persian mythology & legends the pure pomegranate juice was considered to be of great significance. One of the benefits that was claimed can be accrued by the effective use of pomegranate juice is the fact that it can act as a blood thinner if someone is suffering from the problem of blocked arteries. However, until these tests conclude there might be many secrets hidden under the pomegranate fruit which I`m sure would be unlocked one day, sooner rather than later.

Chelation is a chemical substance, which is used when we need to remove molecules like metals and minerals from some body. Basically chelation helps to hold the molecules collectively so that it can smooth the process of their secretion from body. It removes any kind of toxic materials from someone’s body even before it can do any damage to one’s body. It is mainly used when there are some cases of poison. EDTA is one of the most common chelating agents available. EDTA can be called as an amino acid that is man made, which removes metals and minerals from body. Calcium, iron and copper are the materials that are removed in Chelation treatments. EDTA has been approved as a chelating agent by Food and Drug Administration of USA.
Chelation treatment has medically proved to be a treatment against poisoning due to lead and other similar heavy metals. Though it is not approved by Food and Drug Administration, it can also be used for the treatment of atherosclerosis. Chelation treatment not only helps removing poison from body but also helps in improving blood circulation in the body and removing plaques that are formed in blood vessels. EDTA has the capability to suspend the metals thus it makes its application very wide. These properties make it useful as water softener or chemical analyzer thus is used as one of the ingredients in preservatives and shampoos. It is also a powerful cleansing agent and is hence used in water treatment in places like boiler and steam engineering water treatment.
Chelation treatment can also be used for other diseases like artery disease, angina, circulatory disorder and gangrene but it still needs some medical tests to see how effective it can be. Theses tests are done to ensure complete safety of a patient.

You may be overwhelmed by the pressure of caring the older members of your family who require constant care; but you are not alone. There are millions of adults who finds a hard time taking care of older relatives or parents while working and taking care of their children. Sometimes one is pressed down under the dual pressure of taking care of older members and his own needs; but your work is also as important as taking care of the elder people. If you don’t take care of your own responsibilities, you will land nowhere. When that happens you won’t be able to take care of anyone else.
Using home health care is a good option to get the rest and get relief you need while still making sure that the elder people are getting proper care and protection. Don’t feel guilty if you take some time off to take of yourself and your own family, but home health care is a necessity if you want to continue to care for your loved ones in the future. If you are in a dilemma whether to get the services of home health care, consider the following benefits of using home health care:
Your loved ones are taken care of by trained medical staff- Hiring home health care is far safer than hiring strangers to care for your loved ones. Since home health care workers are trained medical professionals, should an emergency arise in your home, these medical professionals can respond properly.
Social interaction - Every people needs social interaction, even the elder people in your home. Hiring home health care workers even if for couple of days, gives your loved ones the chance to talk with and interact with other people, which will help them stay more connected to the world.
Prescription Support - You may be concerned about the elder people in your home, whether they eat nutritiously, when you can’t be there to give them a meal. You may be concerned whether your loved ones take their medications when they need to, in your absence. If you have a home health care staff then you can be sure that your loved ones are having nutritional diet and having their medications at the right time.

The aim of achieving and maintaining an optimum state of health has always exercised the minds of men since the earliest of times and as a consequence various systems of healing developed in different parts of the world. Ayurveda evolved in US as the natural way of healing or naturopathy. For centuries it was the only system of medicine.
Around the same time, other variations like the concept of ‘Ayurvedas‘ developed in China while Unani saw its beginning in Greece. With the passage of time, these systems progressed into independent branches of learning. Though there were other forms of medicine being practiced in other parts of the world, these three are of special interest to us because they found their way into India at various stages in time and affected the progress of traditional healing methods that are prevalent in the country today.
These ages old systems, based on herbs and diet, offer a powerfully effective and gentle way to heal, with the least danger of side effects. Today allopathic with its powerful drugs often creates a toxic burden for the body one that the liver is unable to eliminate and which impairs necessary organic physiological processes.
The fallout of this has been an increased interest in a holistic approach to health a return to nature. Naturopathy seeks to take human beings not back to nature but back to the fundamentals of nature. Natural cures are able to cleanse the system, thus enhancing the body’s power to cure itself and its ability to defend itself from germs.
